Brian Ferrari started to gather his essays and photos to form this blog in 2016. For 5 years prior to that, he produced and hosted 60 Degrees with Brian Ferrari, a weekly radio program on eastvillageradio.com which focused on girl groups and female singers of the 1960’s. As of June 2024, the show is back on the air at the newly revived radio station on Sunday mornings, 8-10am EST and streaming on demand here.
Brian was producer / host of the weekly late night television program Bri-Guy’s Media Surf, which aired for 10 years on Manhattan Neighborhood Network (1997-2007). The program is slated to be archived as part of the Fales Collection at NYU Library. Other work has been featured at the Leslie Lohman Foundation and the Pop-Up Museum of Queer History. He has contributed to Bindle, Queerclick and The Good Men Project websites and was a guest on 2 episodes of Ana Matronic’s Good Time Sallies podcast.
